Ziro Festival of Music 2025 will be held from September 26-29, 2025, in the beautiful Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh. The festival takes place in the heart of the valley surrounded by pine forests and rice fields, creating a magical natural amphitheater.
Yes, you need an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to enter Arunachal Pradesh. We handle all permit arrangements for our festival packages. The process takes 3-4 working days, so book early. Indian citizens need ILP, while foreign nationals require Protected Area Permits (PAP).
We offer various camping options from standard dome tents (₹1,999/night) to luxury alpine tents (₹8,999 for 3 nights). All accommodations include breakfast, campsite amenities, and are located within walking distance of the main stage. Homestays with local Apatani families are also available.
Fly to Guwahati (Assam) or Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh), then drive to Ziro (6-8 hours from Guwahati, 4 hours from Itanagar). We provide transportation from both airports as part of our packages. The scenic mountain drive is part of the adventure!
Pack warm clothes (temperatures drop to 10-15°C at night), rain gear, comfortable walking shoes, power banks, flashlight, and personal toiletries. We provide detailed packing lists with booking confirmation. Don't forget your camera for the stunning valley views!
Yes! The festival features amazing food stalls with local Apatani cuisine, Northeast delicacies, and popular Indian dishes. Our accommodation packages include breakfast, and there are vegetarian and vegan options available. Try the local rice beer and bamboo shoot curry!
Festival entry is included in all our accommodation packages. We strongly recommend booking in advance as the festival has limited capacity (around 8,000 people) and sells out every year. Last-minute bookings are rarely available due to permit processing time.

Absolutely! Ziro Festival welcomes families and has a very safe, peaceful atmosphere. Children under 12 get discounted rates. The festival promotes cultural learning and environmental awareness, making it educational for kids. However, note the remote location and basic facilities.
September is generally dry in Ziro, but we're prepared for rain. The main stage has partial cover, and we provide rain contingency plans. Pack rain gear and waterproof bags. Rain actually adds to the mystical atmosphere of the valley!
Limited ATMs are available in Ziro town (15 minutes from festival site). Mobile network is patchy - BSNL works best. We recommend carrying sufficient cash and informing family about limited connectivity. It's part of the digital detox experience!
